Happy New Year, Lifted! Family -

We made it through the holidays and into a new year! I’m incredibly excited for what’s to come! This year will bring loads more opportunities, lots of adventure and many ways to show up in community to spread light and hope!

Thank you again to all the families and volunteers who contributed to an incredible holiday concert season with 2 full performances and our holiday party! It was no small undertaking and everyone mattered from greeters to carpoolers, chaperones and cookie bakers. We couldn’t thrive without you! As we enter into this new year, I hope you’ll help me welcome a few new families who are excited to join for the remainder of the season!

Our holiday break extends a few more days and then we start back up on the 8th! Our upcoming rehearsal and performance events are below. Please plan accordingly.

Caregiver Action Items:

• REMINDER: Our first rehearsal in 2025 will be on Wednesday, January 8th from 4:30 - 5:30 PM for our weekly participants.

  
  

• REMINDER: The next Lifted! Workshop is Saturday, January 11th from 1 to 4 PM.

  
  

• MARK YOUR CALENDARS: Details for our “learn together, serve together” experience will roll out next week. We will be performing and participating in the 2025 MLK March & Rally at Garfield High School on Monday, January 20th. The rally begins at 11:00 AM (CALL TIME 10:30 AM). A few of my favorites moments of the season included the love I received from you all during the concert! My heart was so full! And of course, beautifully sacred moments like the Christmas Eve service at Lake B where we lit candles together and sang.

I hope you all have had a little time to slow and be present to those you love. Can’t wait to be back together in the coming weeks!
