Greetings and a warm welcome to the Lifted! family! We’re excited for you to explore our admissions process—where music, culture, and community come together to create something truly uplifting. Our South Seattle youth gospel choir is more than just a choir; it’s a place where young voices discover their gifts, purpose, and joy.

Now Accepting Registrations for the 2025-26 Season!

Season Start: Wednesday, September 17, 2025
Location: Lake Burien Presbyterian Church

Choirs & Age Groups

​

• Lifted! Youth Gospel Choir (ages 7–18)

  • Ages 7–12: Wednesdays, 4:30–5:30 PM

  • Ages 12–18: Wednesdays, 6:00–7:00 PM

  • Monthly workshops: 1st Saturdays, 1:00–4:00 PM (starting October)
     

• Lifted! Remix (selective performance choir, ages 7–18, approx. 24 students)

  • By audition/invitation only

  • Year-long commitment as Lifted! Ambassadors for concerts and guest performances

  • Rehearsals: Select Tuesdays, 5:00–6:30 PM
     

• Lifted! Community Choir (all ages)

  • Workshop-style choir beginning late October/early November

  • Performs at Lifted! concerts

Audition & Registration Information

New Choristers:

• Voice placements & auditions by appointment. To reserve a time, email LiftedYouthGospelChoir@gmail.com

• Audition includes: getting to know your chorister, a short 30-second song, and a vocal range check

• If you can’t attend, you may submit a 30-second video clip instead

Returning Choristers:

• If your vocal range has changed, please complete a voice placement

• If your range is the same, you may register directly via the link below
