Workshop Date Change + Caregiver Meeting + GTAM Performance Details

Hey Lifted! Family -

It’s great to be home! I had a fabulous time exploring South Korea, traveling from Seoul to Busan and back, learning the culture, enjoying the food and most of all, visiting our daughter Lynia. The city of Seoul reminds me of a busier and brighter New York!

—> Here are some VERY important updates to take note of:

Saturday Workshop Date Moved to 11/9:

After my travels, I woke up a little under the weather today. In an attempt to keep our kids healthy, I am moving the date of this weekend’s workshop to next weekend - November 9th. I hope most of you can still make it! Time and location are the same.

Caregiver/Volunteer Meeting Next Wednesday - 11/6:

Immediately after rehearsal next week, we are going to hold a quick meeting for any caregivers and community volunteers that would like to pitch in to keep the Lifted! machine chugging along. We will be discussing volunteer roles for the upcoming Christmas concert and other areas of service. It will also serve as an orientation for newer families. We will try to dismiss by 6:15 so that you can get home to your families. Snacks will be provided.

GTAM 25 Year Celebration - Guest Performance - 11/15:

As I mentioned at rehearsal on Wednesday, our performance for the Grace & Truth Apostolic Ministries 25th Anniversary Celebration is right around the corner on Friday, November 15th. We would love as many of you to come perform as possible, but also understand if you have schedule conflicts. For those of you who are able to perform, the call time will be 6:30 PM at GTAM’s building located at 9425 S 248th Street - Kent, WA 98030.

We will be performing the following songs: He’ll Make It Alright and I’ll Praise Your Name (with Excellence Medley as a back up). Attire will be head-to-toe black with stoles provided at the show. Please send a quick email to me if your family will be able to participate so we can have an accurate count. Also, feel free to share any carpool needs in the 2024-25 WhatsApp chat.
