It’s been a gift to be back together after break. I love the fun we have together and hearing the beautiful music we make.

This Monday is our first Guest Performance of the year at Garfield High School as we honor the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. I am requesting that this event be prioritized and all those able to make it, please come out. This is a great opportunity to increase awareness about Lifted! in our community and it’s important to have as many voices as possible so we can represent well. If you would like to carpool with another family, please reach out in the WhatsApp chat.

Event Details:

The Seattle MLK Jr Coalition’s Annual Rally & March

LOCATION: Garfield High School (GYM)

CALL TIME: 10:00 AM (Rally begins at 11:00 AM, March begins at 12:30 PM)

WHAT TO WEAR: All black or Lifted! t-shirts (stoles will be provided on site)

MUSICAL SELECTIONS: “The Lord Will Make A Way Somehow” and “No Longer Bound”

Additional Info: I anticipate there will be a lot of people at the rally and march. I recommend arriving 20 minutes early to find parking and make it to the gym. Please be mindful of where you park if you are planning to leave directly after the rally. The march route will not be announced until the day of the event for security purposes.
