Hey Lifted! Fam -

It’s workshop weekend! I know I am not alone when I say that I am so excited to gather with everyone this coming Saturday and hear what Joyya has in store for us for our end of year Juneteenth performance. Please take a minute to review the Caregiver Action Items and read the update from Joyya below.

Hi Family!

I am too excited to join you over the next two months for what I believe will be a phenomenal time together. We'll work hard, dance, laugh, but most of all sing our hearts out! As we prepare to celebrate Juneteenth, I have reflected on a few songs that have been an anchor to me in the midst of political, social, and varying storms of life. These songs have encouraged me in the toughest times of life and serves as a reminder that "I am not alone" because "my life is in your hands" and God is "pulling me through", so we gon' be alright! Take a moment to listen and review the songs listed. We will thoroughly learn each one over the next two workshops. Our workshops should look pretty similar to previous workshops, but I'll be sure to add in additional dance breaks if needed. I look forward to being with all of your smiling faces and am preparing my tissues in advance for the tears of joy that come every time I'm in your presence. See you Saturday!
