Hey Lifted! Fam -
I hope you’ve been enjoying the gift of SUNSHINE the last two days!! I feel encouraged just by the warmth of the rays … and the PURE joy of being with your young people!
Tomorrow is our workshop! It’s a 3-hour intensive and will really make a difference as we continue to prep for our concert so if you can make it, please do!

Caregiver & Community Volunteer Meeting Summary
Thank you to those of you who were able to make it to the Caregiver & Community Volunteer Meeting on Wednesday. For those of you who weren’t there, I’ve attached a copy of the agenda for you to review HERE. There are a few specific things I wanted to call out that we went over.
Crystal’s Sabbatical - I am finally taking a long overdue sabbatical that will begin the week after Easter. During this time, I will be preparing for, and performing in, The Color Purple with the Village Theater. This is something very new for me, but I couldn’t be more excited! In my absence, my sister Joyya will be acting as auxiliary director to get the kids ready for our Juneteenth concert at Benaroya Hall. Rehearsals will continue as usual up until that performance and I’ll make sure to pop in from time to time.
Volunteer Training - We are in need of additional parents to volunteer to chaperone our kids for concert days and other Lifted! events. In order to keep our community safe, we are requiring that everyone who is interested in volunteering go through Safe Church Training. If you are interested in getting trained, please get in touch with Michael Won at michaelwon@lbpc.org to get that process kicked off.
Other Volunteer Opportunities - If you are interested in volunteering for the remainder of this season, or have an amazing skill to share with the community, please let me know and I’ll get you in touch with the right person. We are so blessed to have so many amazing skills in the community that we can tap into. Other identified opportunities include:

IMPORTANT NOTE - Tickets will be checked at the door, so please make sure to reserve a ticket for anyone attending, and reserve only what you need so that we can make sure all the seats are filled. Thanks!
